Drawply v0.3.4 · Updated October 10, 2026

Open-source license comes first

Drawply is distributed at no charge under the MIT license. That license governs your rights to use, copy, modify and redistribute the software. This page explains the website and project’s scope; it does not impose extra restrictions on the rights granted by the MIT license.

Your content and changes

You retain whatever rights you have in your images, annotations and project files. Drawply claims no ownership of them. Use material you are authorized to use and share. The host platform’s terms apply when you send content to that platform.

Annotations are instructions for an AI, not verified edits to a source project. Review the AI’s interpretation and resulting changes. Keep appropriate backups; outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your purpose.

Compatibility and availability

Drawply requires compatible host capabilities and a local runtime. Features, availability and host APIs may change. No uptime, compatibility, support, security response time, update schedule or automatic image activation is promised. Any charges for third-party services remain between you and those providers.

Warranty and liability

The software is provided “as is” under the warranty disclaimer and liability provisions in the MIT license. The distribution pages and examples are also provided as available, without a promise that they are error-free. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the authors and contributors do not accept liability for loss arising from use of the project or its documentation.

Nothing here excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These terms do not prevent claims that applicable law allows. No legal document can guarantee that a person will never be sued.

Other services and names

Drawply is independent and is not an OpenAI product, partner certification or official plugin listing. Codex and ChatGPT are OpenAI product names. References to other projects do not imply endorsement. The software license does not grant rights to third parties’ trademarks or to claim endorsement by this project’s maintainers.

Privacy and contributions

See the privacy notice for local files, host state and website hosting. If you contribute original code to a Drawply repository whose contribution rules specify the MIT license, submit only work you are entitled to license and identify third-party material and its license. Do not include private project files in public reports.
